MakeUp Moday

Back 2 School Make Up Tips!

When returning back to school for most girls we want to look our best- or at least better then last year. That means from head to toe a whole new you. A more exciting, fun and popular persona is the overall style most are going for. For that senior girl coming into high school for the last year or that collage beauty making her stride as she moves closer toward her degree, your focal point is the face and it MUST be on point! With that said 1stClassLadies are going to give you tips and tricks for not over doing the makeup and keeping the face fresh!

Your skin comes first. Before you worry about your shadows, glosses, and other beauty products you need to take care of your skin first. High school and collage student no all to well about acne, scars, blackheads and other irritabilities that the face can produce. Make sure to invest in a daily cleaner along with a mask you can use twice out the week. You want to make sure that you keep the skin as clean as possible. Not doing so can cause oil build up which helps cause pimples and such. Also be mindful of what you eat and drink as that also plays a part in skin care. Make sure to keep the face moisturized as the season changes from summer to fall and you want to keep it protected.

Your going to learn at school not work at the circus. Yes school is a place of education for you to learn and make something of yourself. Just because it is a place of serious business does not mean you can't look your best. There is no reason you can't apply a bit of makeup to the face creating a clean and soft look to enhance your beauty. This doesn't mean you need to show up looking  like a clown. The last thing you want to do is go OVER the top. Leave the deep contour, blue eye shadow and extra red lipstick for the night life. Settle for a more toned down look that states you want to look your best and do you best at the same time. Fill in your brows if that's your thing and substitute the your favorite color eye shadows out for either a neutral  color or just some eyeliner.

No lashes for school but a good mascara will do. Apply a generous amount to both your bottom and top lashes so this way it gives the illusion that you have on falsies without the time and energy it takes to apply them. Trade out the lipstick for a nice soft lip gloss and remember to moisturize your lips  before apply a gloss so that the gloss doesn't give you the white line and make your lips dry once it fades ( regardless to what you hear ALL glosses at some point fade.) Instead of a foundation try utilizing tinted BB cream. It gives the face the same flawless glowing look that foundation does just not as heavy. If you want to add a little color to the face a soft pink or peach to the face is ok to apply with a light hand. You DO NOT want to apply it heavy for school. Concealer is good to apply but only to the places that need to be covered. There is no need to highlight but if you want to wake up the eyes a bit, be mindful of how much is applied and how bright your highlight is.

Whatever you decide this school year make sure to look & do your best!! 1stClassLadies have a few videos below to help with some looks for the upcoming school year.

Take care of your face the right way

Love the skin your in- unknown

Take Care Of Your Face The Right Way

Every woman is beautiful in her own special way. A lot of women hide behind pounds and pounds of makeup to cover up blemishes, blackheads, acne and scarings but that only makes the skin worse. Makeup can be a girls close friend but if your not taking care of the skin underneath, makeup will be your only friend. Today let 1stClassLadies help you on your journey to beautiful healthy skin as well as the best makeup to use with or without breaking your pockets.

Let's start with underneath the makeup. You must protect your skin before applying anytime of beauty products to the face. For cleansing make sure to use a product that will not strip the skin of its natural oils but still does the job.

The face should never be dry or over oily. As the weather gets colder we need to protect it from the wind and cold temperatures. Keep you face hydrated and refreshed. Always moisturize after washing the face. Moisturizers are made for all skin types so know your skin and pick the right one for you.

Take care of your eyes. No matter how beautiful your eyes might be if the bags sink to deep or are to dark everything else is forgotten. Take care of your under eyes and keep them looking as young as you feel. Make sure all the attention is drown into your eyes and not into your under eye bags.

The first step of makeup. Foundation should cover the face but not take over it. Use a light weight foundation. If you're taking care of your skin the way you should, you should not have to pile it on to look photo ready. Just like facial  moisturizers, foundations also come in types fit for your skin whether it is oily, dry, or normal.

For those of us that do have the darker tone under our eyes we utilize concealer. Use the one right for you. The best thing about concealer is it comes in so many different shades your bound to find the one fit for your complexion.
Set it right not heavy. You must remember that in order for your makeup to last you must set both your concealer and foundation with a setting powder. You can use either a translucent powder with no color or a color powder fit to your skin tone.
Now for the lips. Your lips should also be well moisturized especially in the fall and winter as they seem to "crack" first. Even if your applying a lip gloss or a lipstick ALWAYS apply a balm first.

Lip color products. If your going to add color to the lip 1stclassladies feel that it doesn't really matter the brand as all lipsticks or glosses (regardless to 24hr wear or not) fades after time. So make sure that you pick a color you like and be ready to apply again when it starts to fade.

Remove the makeup. It's very important to remove your makeup the proper way every night before bed. If you don't then then the makeup will seep into your pores creating bad skin.

Fall Make Over

Be Beautiful in every season- Jenn Lo 1CL

2012 Fall Make Over

Just like most we try to revamp our self for the new season. Newest and trendiest sweaters, jeans, boots and accessories to look our best this fall. Why not have the same attitude when it comes to looking our best through hair and makeup. 1stClassladies have put together a list of must haves for this falls hair and makeup. The looks to wear, the tools to use, and the best ways to achieve these styles. Being an artist is great but being able to style yourself up to be a different you everyday is even greater artist!

Lets Start With The hair. The weather is less exhausting and hot so let your hair hang down a bit. Enjoy the big curls or deep waves. Before you know it it will be time to throw all in hat on so embrace this time. In love with your short hair? Not a problem. Put a new twist on it for the new season. Change up the color with either a lighter highlight or a darker color completely to complement the season and the calmer tones that are considered to go with fall.

Face can STILL be made. Don't feel like you have to only wear neutral to express yourself. Color goes a LONG way just tone it down a little. Instead of a lime green trade it out for a hunter green with maybe a bit of glitter if you still want a bit of the summer sizzle. If you going to use neutrals add a pop of color as one of the shades to keep a bit of you in the look. Ladies we get lighter as we get deeper into fall because our tans fade. PLEASE remember to change your foundation!! You do NOT want your neck and your face to be two different shades. That is a photo no no!

1stClassLadies considers  the lips to be the final touch. You want them to be what makes the look complete and successful. Just because we had to say goodbye to summer for a while doesn't mean we have to do the same with our favorite lip wear. You can tone down your summer bright lipsticks with a dark lip liner. The is a cost conscious way of utilizing products you already own. 1stClassLadies prefer to use less shinny colors and use matte lipstick for the fall.

Enjoy the season with a new you every time it comes around!! Here are fall inspired tutorials 1stClassLadies enjoyed from some of there favorite YouTube channels. Hope y'all enjoyas well!!
