Continue to be the great men your son will grow to admire as well as be like and your daughter would want to her husband to be as. You are their first example of what a "good man" is- make it count!!!!

If this quote ain't the truth, I dont know what is truth. These fathers we salute are just a few we grew up watching setting great examples of what a father truly is!

When it comes to TV Dads the first to probably come to mind has to be Mr Clifton Huxtable from the Cosby's. He was the all around dad who provided for the family, gave advice but also disciplined when the time was necessary!

This family wasnt your average being that the two parents in the household werent an item of any sense. Just the two seperate adopted parents of twins who were seperated at birth. However Ray did an excellent job at being a father for the two.

Many might not remember these two but if your an 80's baby you should! The Goof Troop movie was all about Goofy proving to his adolescent, going through those stages of my dad isnt cool enough, son Max that he too is a cool dad. By the end of the movie he had proven just that!!!

80's babies cant deny watching these crawlers on Nickolodeen and even further going to see all their movies. All Tommy, Phil & Lil, Angelica, and Suzie had their loving fathers around every step of the way. The one who stood out most was Chucky's dad Chaz who was a widowed father, however showcased a great example of the first single dad on a children's cartoon and how it is no different in parenting and love.

If you were an ER fan you'd remember the character doctor Peter Benson who was a surgent with a very demanding schedule. On the show he had a son who from birth had a hearing deficicancy. Throughtout the series the viewers saw the struggle he faced once his sons mom passed. One thing no one can deny is the love he had for his son and never putting anything before it!

Talk about a BIG family. Who could forget the show 7 Heaven which was about a preacher and the good and bad times with his family. He faced many triumphs raising three daughters and four sons but he always handled the situation with love and care!

No father in the world has more child support to dish out than this man right below, Mr Papa Smurf. Though all smurfs have a name that best describes who they are like the seven dwarfs, no one could do the job better than him!

The home of Mary Kate & Ashley growing up as little ones was a house full of fathers and father figures on Full House! Not only did the girls have their dad once their mom passed, they also had two great uncles who did a fantastic job giving these girls a great upbringing.

Who can forget when Ricky sang at his club "Rock A Bye Baby" as a request from an audience member not knowing till the end he was actually singing it for himself because Lucy was syblimanially telling him that their expecting their first baby!

Julius, the father from Every Body Hates Chris has to go down in history for the most money saving father in Tv history yet we salute him for setting an example in this day and age of a african american family with the father married to the mom raising a family!!

Bernie Mac must be saluted for setting an example on his hit show "The Bernie Mac" show that though a child might not be yours, you can still make a big difference. He did just that raising his sisters three children and doing a great job!!

Fathers Day Words

It's 8a.m. and after you have whipped your eyes and stretched you remember today's the day- your first shaving lesson!! Though you have no hair to shave, the excitement of being like dad is more important then anything. You race to the bathroom where dad is already setting up as the teacher. You grab your stool so you can see in the mirror and your ready to began. This is something that will forever stick with you. A lesson that you will one day pass on to your offspring and them to theirs. It is a known fact that children who have positive role models in their life are more positive people. Girls and boys who have men and women to show them the way, stay on top of them and teach them right from wrong. Unfortunately not everyone is as blessed to have both parents in their life. It's more common then most that fathers play an absent role in the life of a child.

1stClassLadies is not in any way knocking fathers who do what it is they need to do in order to be in their child's life regardless of their relationship status with the other parent, financial income and/or physical challenges. We applaud you for your efforts and encourage you to continue do the best you can do. Some father's get a bad rap as being less important then mother's but there are a lot out there that are amazing if not more of a parent then the child's mother. 1stclassLadies are even noticing more one parent homes that only consist of a father. To those we tip our hats to! Raising a child regardless of what gender you are is a challenge. It comes with good times and bad, ups and downs but as long as one is willing to put forth the work and effort the skies the limit.

1stClassLadies would personally like to thank the fathers of our children for being the amazing dads they are. Though we all may have our challenges amongst one another you guys never stop trying to be great parents and we thank you for that!!!

MR CURTIS JACKSON FAMOUSLY KNOWN AS 50CENT IS A PROUD DAD OF SON MARQUISE JACKSON. WHEN NOT SPENDING QUALITY TIME HE IS DEFINITELY MAKING SMART BUSINESS MOVES LIKE THE 100 MILLION DOLLAR DEAL DONE WITH VITAMIN WATER.
