Seems that with the devistation of Storm  Sandy that fashion is playing its part in helping to restore.  Check out this list of fashion affiliates that are helping to build and contribute to those in need!!!

"As the Hurricane Sandy cleanup and recovery continues, the list of fashion brands and stores that are donating to the cause grows, too. Here are additional ways you can help by loading up on designer shoes, organic beauty products, and warm outerwear from retailers that are donating portions of their proceeds to relief efforts."

Rachel Comey: Grab clothing and footwear from this hip NYC designer when 15 percent of all online sales this week will be donated to New York Cares to support Sandy victims.

Bloomingdales: Many Hurricane Sandy victims are still without basic necessities, which is why the department store has pledged to donate 250,000 bottles of water to relief efforts and is asking shoppers to help bring the number up to 500,000 through in-store donations.

Grey Area: This art-meets-fashion retailer has teamed up with visual artist Sebastian Errazuriz to create a pair of Hurricane Sandy-themed T-shirts with 100 percent of the profits going towards relief programs.

Priti NYC: Nab non-toxic nail polishes, hand creams, and body scrubs from this organic beauty brand, now 10 percent off with 10 percent of sales benefitting the American Red Cross. Use the code "HURRICANERELIEF" at checkout.

Mandy Coon: Stop by the NYC designer's sample and overstock sale on November 15 and 16, when a portion of your purchases will be donated to relief organizations. Score edgy, party-ready dresses.

Penfield USA: Browse for classic parkas and cozy flannels at the all-American retailer's website, knowing $10 from every order will be donated to the American Red Cross.

Lacoste: This preppy brand wants to ensure children impacted by the storm have a happy holiday season by kicking off a three-week toy drive at all New York and select New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania boutiques. The company will match each toy brought in, and also offer a 20 percent discount for donating.

Peek Brooklyn: Stock up on fashionable legwear to ward off the winter chill—this local hosiery e-tailer is donating 10 percent of all sales to Red Hook and Rockaway relief funds through November 11.

The Spa at Trump Soho: New Yorkers deserve to treat themselves after a harrowing week; and to help you unwind, this luxe Turkish-themed spa is offering 45-minute massages or facials for $100 (usually $145), with $10 from each treatment going to the American Red Cross.

TOM As a company that has built its brand around charitable giving, it's no surprise that the label is turning its philanthropic eye to the Hurricane Sandy relief. This week, $10 from every eyewear and $5 from every footwear purchase will be given to Save the Children to support storm victims.

SPiN New York: Visit Susan Sarandon’s ping-pong nightclub for her SPiN for a Cause event, in which your pay-what-you-like entry fee goes towards Hurricane Sandy relief and gives you access to DJs, cocktails, and raffle prizes.

Mackage: When you visit by this outerwear brands Soho shop to pick out a new winter coat for yourself, donate your old toppers to the Hurricane Sandy coat drive. For every jacket that you provide, the store give $25 to relief efforts.

Hudson + Bleecker: Through November 16, this stylish travel accessories brand is donating 10 percent of all online sales to New York Cares in support of Hurricane Sandy victims.

Dannijo at Owen: Avant-garde Meatpacking District shop Owen is offering Dannijo’s Resort 2013 collection with 10 percent of sales benefitting the storms relief funds. The event is taking place on November 15 from 6–8pm.
