Make Up Mondays

“I love the confidence that makeup gives me.”
― Tyra Banks

She Does It All- Thats Sira To You!

" I'm passionate about what I do and when you love what you do everyday, it no longer becomes a job." The words every person in the world would love to be able to say. Unfortunately everyone can not be Jesira Reyes. This glamorizing beauty is both a make up artist and hair stylist tackling the best of both worlds. Her inspirations you ask?? anything fun as well as colorful abstracts. Transforming you from a Ugly Betty to a stunning Goddess . "When it comes to make up, I just can't get enough." And that saying goes for majority of woman today!! Make up gives females a chance to play with and spice up the look.
All work & no play makes a plain Jane... NOT!

Though make up was a passion from the beginning, hair came along later. "Learning how to do hair was something I was never interested in doing til I went to cosmetology school. The more I learned the more I learned to love the art in it I now can do hair all day." And thank goodness she did!! from braids to curls, twist and buns- you got a vision, she's got your look!

                           “Damn….. She Nailed It!”

Snap…. Pop….. Crackle- Three words that say it all about this falls glitz and glam for nails. From checker prints to strips, jewels or gems, metallics and electric blends 2011 is unquestionably all about standing out!! To wow and surpass the next one must be the best. Taking the ordinary and transforming it into the extraordinary.  The French manicure for example is thought to be for the simple. Try the Embellished French tip which is taking a bold color as the base with an even bolder color as the tip. This is giving one the best of both worlds by letting them maintain their sophistication with a glamorized twist. Don’t want crazy designs but still want to be daring? Use solids but make the ring finger a different color from the rest. Darker shades such as black or plum are other excellent choices for the season. Or as we said in our previous fashion Friday “When in doubt, wear red.” It is definitely in the now and considered to be the “It” color.
