-Common (I Used to Love Her)

We don't know about you, but we're definitely tired of hearing the same ole' same on the airways. It seems like every hour on the hour you hear your favorite songs run down into the ground by disc jockeys. What happen to playing the hottest unheard tunes by up and coming mystery artist? What happened to formulating such a buzz it lands them to instant stardom?

We guess we need to accept the ways of the 80's baby's is long surpassed, and the 90's have come and gone. So could the new generation of hip hop lead to something more profound? A lot of times  we hear that artist like Lil B, and Tyler The Creator are bringing a new wave of music but is it more substantial? Do these new artist stand up; surpassing the legends like Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, more recently Biggie,Tupac, Common, Dmx, Wu- Tang or Nas?! I think we can all agree that Hip Hop's new generation has left us with a serious void. Not just lyrically but somehow in culture as well. However, when one door shuts another opens. So the silver lining would be that hip hop has become less prolific and more mainstream. Embracing diversity; using influences of country, and even rock and roll. Where will the evolution of Hip Hop lead? We'll just have to enjoy the ride until it's over.

But until then we at 1stClassLadies will continue to bring new artist to  the forefront, so that you can see all there is to offer... With that said, we bring you Fhaze. Wondering who he is and what he's about well we're sure to cover all basis to satisfy your curiosity.

"In my opinion, most artist are skeptical about thinking outside of the box and experiencing with music they are not use to, in fear that they might loose their original fan base". Fhayze hopes to put an end to that with his upcoming "Apologies RN Order" Mix Tape, set to release in the summer of 2012.

A member of the U.S. Army since 2007, he has been stationed in various locations overseas, including South Korea and Afghanistan, where he is currently deployed until January 2012. He believes his experience in the service plays a major factor on the music he makes today. "During my time in the service, I have seen allot, been through allot, and met so many different kinds of individuals. I try to use those experiences in my music."
