Dating has changed a lot from the 1960's, now a days the mere suggestion of hanging out can be misconstrued. What ever happened to the courting phase of dating? Drawing a blank on the answer to that question? Well so are we..Somewhere in the midst of all the evolution of cordial dating it be came acceptable to just have one night stands; or " hook up". Trust by no means do we judge, we're all grown here. So we can discuss grown things. We just wonder who, what, when, where, why, and how is it okay to have sex unprotected? (Don't worry I'll wait)*.. Like we we're saying, with so many health risk these days such as STD's & AIDS/HIV. Where is the concern for self perseverance these days?

Many times we get so enthralled in the idea of romance; or the glamor of lust that we actually forget to use our keen senses. Throwing caution to the wind. Making excuses and exceptions for people in our lives and their actions. In all reality there comes a time when you have to put yourself first. Not to be selfish, but to make sure you can be all the person requires. One of the greatest mistakes a person can make is trying to be something they aren't; along with lying to make themselves feel better about there actions. The prime example of this is women putting out too early upon meeting a man of interest. Whether out of insecurities or low self esteem. Trying to show that your a valuable asset to someone, can come at a great price. Your pride, self worth, and health should never be up for bids. Especially if it's bargaining with your life!!

Please believe it.. Believe it please!!! Many of us are at fault. With growing numbers of the AIDS virus rising in all ethnicity's. In 2009, alone the statistics for African Americans 13-24 alone with AIDS was 60% in the United States. But yet at the end of the night after laughter, one to many drinks, and enticing gazes. We all have had to make the decision of have I been seeing him/her long enough; followed by should i go raw? Don't be that ignorant to think that it can't happen. Better yet, don't be so smug to think that it won't happen!
