Get into the Halloween spirit with Boo at the Zoo, taking place at the Bronx Zoo all five weekends in October. Enjoy family and kids' activities, including magic shows, scary stories, costume parades, a hay maze, pumpkin painting and more. And, of course, get an up-close look at all the creepy critters on display

The Haunted Pumpkin Garden at the NewYork Botanical Garden. Pumpkin sculptures of spooky scarecrows, frightening spiders, sneaky snakes, and more designed by artist Michael Natiello await discovery at every turning the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden. Youngsters play inside a “gourd-geous” Pumpkin House, and even put on a scary show at the Pumpkin Puppet theater.
